I’M JONAS.

I have many loves in life: skateboarding, guitar, snowboarding, keeping scam callers on the phone long enough to ask about their weekend plans.

But I've loved words for as long as I can remember.

I learned early on what words can do. The power they hold. To amplify a feeling, or quiet it. To take you away, or bring you back. To recognize yourself through the eyes of a stranger.

That kind of power is dangerous. And I've also had an affinity for danger since childhood.

What I didn't know then was that words would eventually help me survive.

My life's taken an interesting path. But it gave me a unique perspective on the world. And words have always been how I make sense of it.
